Operational Safeguards & Mandates
The safety, physical integrity, psychological well-being, and rights of children (persons under 18 years of age) and youth enrolled in SKILL.SCH programs are paramount in all operations.
SKILL.SCH adheres strictly to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Core Principles on Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
Protection applies without discrimination on grounds of gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation.
No staff member, contractor, or mentor may hold unmonitored one-on-one virtual breakout sessions with a minor without parental consent and automated system auditing.
All communications with minors must occur exclusively via monitored institutional channels (@skill-sch.com or supervised LMS forums). Staff are prohibited from exchanging private personal numbers, personal social media handles, or unlogged messaging apps with minor learners.
Visual and voice recordings of virtual classrooms require explicit written parental/guardian consent and are archived in access-restricted, encrypted cloud storage.
All candidate educators, community moderators, and technical mentors undergo rigorous identity verification, career reference checks, and local/international criminal background clearance before obtaining platform educator permissions.
Every educator is required to review, sign, and reaffirm the Safeguarding Code of Conduct annually.
Any concern, disclosure, or suspicion of harm or exploitation must be submitted to safeguarding@skill-sch.com within 24 hours.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead initiates immediate precautionary measures, including temporary suspension of access for the accused individual while an independent inquiry is performed.
Mandatory referrals to competent child protection and law enforcement agencies are made in compliance with statutory obligations.
Official institutional sign-off certifying that all documented policies are in active effect across SKILL.SCH.
